About CBSE Exam Class 10th 2026

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a new change for Class 10 students starting from the 2026 academic session. Students will now be allowed to appear for their board exams twice a year. CBSE will consider the better score of the two for the final result.

According to the Board, this step is part of its larger plan to make board exams more student-friendly and less stressful. By giving students a second chance, CBSE aims to reduce the pressure of one-time, high-stakes exams and make the evaluation process more flexible and fair.
