JEE Main Exam 2022 Dates

JEE Main Exam Date 2022- NTA has announced the revised JEE Main 2022 exam date for session 1. JEE Mains 2022 exam dates for session 1 are June 23 to 29. The JEE Main 2022 admit card link will be activated soon.

The dates for JEE Main 2022 Exam (Joint Entrance Examination) have been announced by the NTA (National Testing Agency). NTA on April 6 released rescheduled dates of JEE Main 2022 for Session 1 and Session 2. According to the announcement, JEE Main will be conducted in two sessions in 2022. The candidates appearing for JEE Main 2022 will only get two attempts, unlike last year when they got four attempts. JEE Main 2022 Session 1 will be held on 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 June 2022, and Session 2 will be held on 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 July 2022.

The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main, will comprise two papers. Paper 1 will be conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 will be conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

The application process for JEE Main 2022 has already started from 1st March 2022, and the last date to fill out the JEE Main 2022 first session application forms is 05 April 2022. Aspiring candidates can check the official website (idioms website) of JEE Mains at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main 2022 Registration

  • Candidates can apply for JEE Main 2022 Session 1 through “Online” mode only from 01.03.2022 to 05.04.2022 (up to 05:00 p.m.).
  • The fees (as applicable) can be paid online up to 05.04.2022 (11:30 p.m.) through credit/debit card/net banking/UPI/Paytm wallet.
  • The application window for Session 2 will be re-opened as per the details available in the Information Bulletin. Candidates can submit only one Application Form for each session. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate for the same session will not be accepted.
  • Also, Candidates should fill in the Application Form very carefully. No corrections will be permitted once the Application Form is submitted.

JEE Main 2022 Exam – NTA Revised Eligibility Criteria 

Out of all students, the top 2,50,000 candidates will be eligible for attempting JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Mains. The number of attempts has also been reduced students can attempt the exam twice in two consecutive years. The students attempting JEE Mains should have given the class 12 exam in 2021 or 2022 with PCM. NTA Removes 75% in Eligibility Criteria.

Special Case Criteria for JEE Advanced 2022

Students who passed their 12 classes in 2021-2022, registered for JEE Advanced but could not appear for the examination are also eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022 exam. As per the notification by NTA, this is a one-time thing that is only applicable for JEE Advanced 2022 due to the ongoing covid situation.
