The MCC counselling 2025 or NEET counselling 2025 will commence by the 4th week of July 2025 or at least in August 2025. It will be approximately 1 month after the NEET 2025 result is announced. According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), the result of NEET 2025 will be released by June 14, 2025, following which the NEET 2025 counselling process will start. The NEET 2025 exam was held on May 4, 2025, and this year, approximately 21 lakh candidates appeared. This number is about 2 lakh less than the previous year. The NEET UG counselling 2025 will be conducted in online mode by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on its official website (idioms website) – mcc.nic.in. Candidates who clear the NEET 2025 exam will have to register online, make payment of the counselling fee and fill choices of colleges and courses to participate in the counselling rounds. We will update a link to register for NEET counselling 2025 Round 1 here, if available.

The NEET counselling 2025 will be conducted in two parts, one being for 15% (AIQ), which MCC will conduct and 85% (SQ) State Quota seats, and their counselling will be done by each state. There are three rounds in total of NEET UG counselling under MCC, which will be followed by a stray vacancy round. For State Quota seats, the process of counselling will be directed by the respective states for 85% of the seats in the government medical colleges and all the seats of private medical colleges.

The NEET UG counselling 2025 process will be based on the ranks obtained in NEET 2025. Candidates are recommended to remain updated with the latest announcements, NEET UG counselling 2025 schedule, and all-important links that will be shared here.
