National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a scholarship program conducted by NCERT. Kishore Vigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is conducted by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It is a national-level fellowship program held every year. Students studying classes 11, 12 and freshman year (college first year) are eligible to apply for this examination. The main agenda is to identify students’ interest in science & technology and provide them with financial support for further research. KVPY includes two stages: the first stage is similar to other competitive exams in which the aptitude of an individual is evaluated.
