Guidelines for the JEE Advanced 2027 regarding COVID-19
General Guidelines and Preparation at the Centre
- To ensure safety, hygiene and health, standard operating procedures will be followed to implement the safety precautions.
- To keep the exam hall disinfected and properly sanitized the seating area will be thoroughly sanitized including the monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and chair. It will be ensured that all the door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, etc, are properly sanitized as well.
- Hand sanitiser will be provided both inside and at the entrance of the exam centre, for the students and the exam Centre staff to use.
- To prevent any mistakes, barcodes will be made available at each centre to scan the admit cards. After the scanning is done, the students will be informed of their respective Lab/Hall/Room numbers.
- Every candidate must be provided with a notebook to perform the rough work. The invigilators must distribute the same by wearing gloves to ensure hygiene and safety.
Preparation before the exam
- The candidates must follow the time (race against time phrase meaning) given via SMS to reach the exam centre. This will ensure that the entrance of the test centre is not crowded and that social distancing is maintained as well.
- All the candidates must fill out the COVID-19 self-declaration on the admit card completely and properly as per the instructions.
Preparation at the time of entry
- It is mandatory to wear a mask at all times; along with this, the candidates are advised to carry a bottle of sanitiser and a transparent water bottle of their own.
- The candidates must follow the social distancing norms and must maintain social distancing properly. Queue manager/ropes and Floor Marks will be provided outside the test centre. It is important that all the instructions provided by the test staff members are followed by the candidates strictly.
- The information regarding the Lab/Hall/Room number will not be provided outside of the test centre to avoid the crowding of the candidates at a single place; rather, the candidates will be informed about their seating when the barcode on the Admit Card is scanned.
Before entering the test centre, the candidates will be required to wash their hands with soap and sanitiser. It will be provided at various spots outside the test centre.

JEE Advanced Admit Card 2027: Exam Day Guidelines
- To avoid any last-minute rush and confusion, the candidates must report to the allotted exam centre an hour before the reporting time.
- It is important to carry a valid ID proof along with the JEE Advanced admit card 2027.
