The Session 1 result is expected to be released in February, while the Session 2 result is expected by April. JEE Main 2027 will likely be conducted in two sessions—in January 2027 for Session 1 and from April 2027 for Session 2.
Candidates can check their JEE Main 2027 results on the official website (idioms website) jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password. The result will include details such as candidate information, marks, percentile score, and other relevant data. The final JEE Main scorecard will also be sent to candidates through email.

The result of JEE Main 2027 is released by the NTA. There will be two sessions for JEE Main and one for JEE Advanced. For both sessions of the JEE Main exam 2027, the results will be declared separately. Based on applicants’ performance in JEE Main, they will get admission to NITs, GIFTs and other engineering colleges accepting admissions through JEE Main. JEE Main Result 2027: JEE Main Cut Off 2027 (Category Wise)
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 result in February 2027. However, the authority has not yet published the official JEE Main 2027 cutoff. Candidates who have appeared for the exam are now waiting for the cutoff details to understand their chances of qualifying for the next stage.
Meanwhile, based on past year trends and exam difficulty level, we have prepared an expected JEE Main 2027 cutoff list for students’ reference. The cutoff values given in the table below are indicative and may vary from the official cutoff released by NTA. In the final JEE Main Result 2027, the NTA will also declare the JEE Main 2027 rank list. Hence, every appearing candidate can find their secured rank in the JEE Main scorecard. The rank will be based on applicants’ percentile, and they will also receive category-wise and AIR (All India Rank).

JEE Main 2026 Counselling
JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) is responsible for conducting the JEE Main 2027 counseling for admissions to prestigious colleges in India. The students will be called for counseling after the announcement of the JEE Advanced 2026 results. The steps to participate in JoSAA Counseling 2026 are as follows:
- The qualified applicants have to register online.
- Then fill in the choice of college and branch.
- Applicants have to lock their choices.
- The result of the seat allotment will be released.
- Once applicants receive notification to sit for the counseling, they have to report to the allotted institutes.
There will be 6 rounds of counseling, for which applicants have to register once. However, they can amend their choices before every round, for the branch or the college.
