JoSAA Opening and Closing Rank 2026<\/strong> Round 1 is officially out. On June 13, 2026<\/strong>, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) published the Round 1 cutoff data<\/strong> for all the participating institutes, including the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. If you are currently in the JoSAA counselling 2026 process<\/a><\/strong>, these ranks are your most direct tool to figure out where you actually stand.<\/p>\n

So, what exactly are these ranks? The opening rank<\/strong> is the lowest (best) rank at which a seat was offered in a particular institute and branch. The closing rank<\/strong> is the highest rank at which the last seat was filled. Anything between these two numbers is your realistic admission zone for that round.<\/p>\n

JoSAA 2026 Opening and Closing Rank for IITs: Round-Wise Cutoff PDF<\/h2>\n

JoSAA 2026 Opening and Closing Rank for NITs: Round-Wise Cutoff PDF<\/h2>\n
For NITs, the JoSAA cutoff 2026<\/strong> is calculated on the basis of your JEE Main 2026 Common Rank List (CRL)<\/strong>. There are 31 NITs in the JoSAA system this year. Note that NIT cutoffs are released separately for Home State quota and Other State quota so make sure you are checking the right column for your state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

IIITs and GFTIs are also part of the JoSAA counselling 2026<\/strong> system. A total of 26 IIITs and 56 GFTIs participate this year. Their cutoffs are also based on JEE Main 2026 ranks<\/strong>.
