The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is held every year to help students secure admission to the top medical institutions in India. This year, students competed for 63985 medical seats in private, central and state-funded institutions. Excluding AIIMS and JIPMER, NEET is widely considered to be one of the main medical entrance examinations for students in India.
