What is the NEET 2024?
- In order for the students to pursue medicine in India as well as overseas, it is mandatory for the students to clear NEET 2024 exam.
- It is an offline test conducted covering the syllabus of classes 11th & 12th, the total number of marks allotted to the paper is 720.

NEET 2023 Synopsis
In the year 2023, NEET was conducted on 07th May 2023 for medical aspirants in 497 Indian cities and a total of 14 cities outside India, for which the registration process began on 16th April 2023, & the application forms were available on the official website of NEET. As per the official announcement the last date for submission of the online form for NEET 2023 was 20th May 2023. A total of 18.7 Lakh registrations were witnessed for NEET 2023 recording the highest number so far. The results of the same were announced on 13th June 2023.

What Is new in NEET 2024 exam? Expected Changes in NEET 2024
All the students who are planning to take up NEET exam 2024 can expect a few changes. The entity has introduced several changes in the past two years. Below given are a few changes that were introduced earlier:
- The overall exam duration was increased by 20 minutes for NEET 2022 making it a total of 200 minutes (03:20 hours) to be held from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST).
- Section A and Section B had optional questions.
- For Indian candidates who desire to pursue medicine abroad, qualifying NEET UG exam is mandatory.
- There is no upper age limit for the NEET exam, but minimum age limit restrictions should be followed for corresponding categories. Also, there are no restrictions on the number of attempts at the NEET.
- Qualifying NEET is a must, to seek admission in AIIMS and JIPMER institutes.
- For female candidates who wish to pursue nursing programs at AFMS institutes, scores of NEET Exam shall be accepted.
- The exam fee was revised.
- More exam centers were added and allocated both in India and aboard.

After the successful submission of the application form for NEET 2024, candidates are provided with the chance to make changes to a few fields through the online mode. - Schedule – make sure to adhere to the sequence of events and their timings on the day of the examination.

NEET 2024 Question paper and answer keys
NEET exam question paper is available in 13 languages. The candidates can opt for any of their choices. The NEET question paper appears in a bilingual format i.e. two languages. One language is English and the other is the language preferred and selected by the candidate. The 13 languages are Marathi, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Assamese, Oriya, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, and Malayalam. NEET 2024 Answer keys
The official authorities would be releasing the NEET 2024 answer keys on the official website, usually two to three weeks after the exam has been conducted. The students can have an idea about their performance in the exam by visiting some of the unofficial websites for the answer keys. The Entity along with the answer keys also uploads OMR response.
To check and challenge the answer keys in case of any discrepancies, in the first instance, a provisional set of answer keys are released for students. Corrections are made in accordance once the challenges are reviewed by the NTA officials. In case they are found accurate, then the final set of answer keys are released after corrections. The same is treated as the final set of answer keys.

How to Calculate NEET 2024 Score?

- After the answer keys are released by the NTA, the candidate can match their responses as given in the OMR sheet
- Before the candidate begins to tally he or she should ensure that the question paper code and NEET answer key are the same. The code is provided at the top of the pages of both the OMR sheet and the answer key
- In order to estimate the probable score, the candidates will have to compute both the correct and incorrect responses. In case of a correct response 4 marks would be awarded
- In case more than one answer is marked for a single question then it would be nullified. 0 marks would be allotted for the same

NEET result is declared by NTA on its official website. In order to check and download the result candidate must provide details such as their date of birth and roll number. NEET cut-off marks, total marks scored, percentile, AIR, marks scored in each subject (PCB), AIQ Rank (All India Quota), and category rank are displayed on the NEET scorecard.

NEET Cut-off 2024
The minimum score a candidate must secure to successfully qualify for medical counseling is termed as NEET cut-off. The NTA (National Testing Agency) is responsible for announcing the NEET cut-off marks along with the declaration of the result.
For the year 2022, the NEET exam cut-off for the unreserved category was 715-117. For students belonging to different categories, NEET cut-off marks are different. To secure an All India Rank, the candidates should score marks equal to or more than the cut-off of their respective category. NEET 2024 Counseling
After a few weeks of the NEET exam, NTA announces the NEET results and then the counseling process commences. The counseling for 85% of state quota seats is conducted individually by corresponding state counseling officials whereas the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) conducts counseling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ).
