The JEE Main exam 2022: session 1 and session 2 will take (take with a grain of salt idiom synonym) place in June and July. Hence, the final dates of JEE Main Result 2022 are not out yet. The result of JEE Main 2022 is released by the NTA. There will be two sessions of JEE Main and one for JEE Advanced. Once the JEE Main session 1 exam is over, the NTA will release the JEE Main 2022 result of this session in the first week of July. JEE Main Result 2022- Percentile Calculation
The NTA uses the Normalization Formula to calculate the total percentile in the JEE Main exam. The conducting body also gives separate scores for all the subjects (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry). The process to use the Normalization Formula is:

Final JEE Main Result 2022
As the JEE Main exam 2022 will be conducted in two sessions; hence, the final JEE Main result for both sessions will be declared separately. The result of JEE Main 2022 July session will contain the following details:

- The best out of two JEE Main 2022 scores
- All India Rank (AIR) JEE Main 2022

JEE Main Result 2022: Re-Evaluation/Re-Checking
The NTA does not entertain any sort of request from applicants regarding re-evaluation or re-checking. Hence, the scores acquired by competitors in the JEE Main 2022 result are the final results based on which they will get their college.
Difference Between JEE Main Percentage and Percentile Score
Many candidates get confused when they see their JEE Main scorecard, and some think that percentage and percentile are the same aspects. But these are completely different concepts in which percentage is the exact marks while percentile is the relative marking.

JEE Main Result 2022: Cutoff
The NTA not only declares the JEE Main result of the session, but it will also release the JEE Main 2022 cutoff. This will give applicants the idea of a minimum score set to qualify for the JEE Main exam. Hence, candidates will know the qualifying percentile along with the declaration of their JEE Main 2022 result. JEE Main 2022 Counselling
JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) is responsible for conducting the JEE Main 2022 counselling to take admissions in the prestigious colleges in India. The students will be called for the counselling after the announcement of JEE Advanced 2022 result.
The steps to participate in JoSAA counselling 2022 are as follows:
- The qualified applicants have to register online.
- Then fill up the choice of college and branch.
- Applicants have to lock their choices.
- The result of seat allotment will be released.
- Once applicants receive notification to sit for the counselling, they have to report to the allotted institutes.
There will be 6 rounds of counselling, for which applicants have to register once. However, they can amend their choices before every round, for the branch or the college.
