The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main Result 2022 for the first session in July (tentatively). For the next session, the tentative JEE Main 2022 result will be declared within a week after the commencement of the JEE Main 2022 Session 2 exam. Applicants will find the entire details, including aggregate percentile and individual percentile of all three subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in the JEE Main 2022 Scorecard. JEE Main Result 2022 Date and Time

The JEE Main exam 2022: session 1 and session 2 will take (take with a grain of salt idiom synonym) place in June and July. Hence, the final dates of JEE Main Result 2022 are not out yet. But it is expected that for session 1 JEE Main result will be declared in July and the results of session 2 will be out by the month of August.

JEE Main Result 2022 Highlights

The result of JEE Main 2022 is released by the NTA. There will be two sessions of JEE Main and one for JEE Advanced. For both the sessions of JEE Main exam 2022, the result will be declared separately. Based on applicants’ performance in JEE Main, they will get admission to NITs, GIFTs and other engineering colleges accepting admissions through JEE Main. How to Check NTA JEE Main Result 2022?

Once the JEE Main session 1 exam is over, the NTA will release the JEE Main 2022 result of this session in the first week of July. Applicants must keep an eagle on the official website of the NTA (nta.ac.in/jeemain.nta.nic.in) to know their results. However, keep a note that the JEE Main result is only available in Online mode, no other sources are responsible to declare the same.

Steps to Check JEE Main Result 2022

  1. Visit the official website of NTA JEE Main 2022.
  2. Click: jeemain.nta.nic.in
  3. Applicants will find a link to check JEE Main 2022 result, like “View Score Card’ or ‘View JEE Main Result 2022’. Click on that link.
  4. Enter JEE Main 2022 Application number, Applicant’s date of birth and security pin.
  5. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  6. JEE Main 2022 Scorecard will appear on the screen consisting of the details and performance of the applicant.
  7. Download the result.

JEE Main Result 2022- Percentile Calculation

The NTA uses the Normalization Formula to calculate the total percentile in the JEE Main exam. The conducting body also gives separate scores for all the subjects (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry). The process to use the Normalization Formula is:

Final JEE Main Result 2022

As the JEE Main exam 2022 will be conducted in two sessions; hence, the final JEE Main result for both sessions will be declared separately. The result of JEE Main 2022 July session will contain the following details:

  • Total scores of the applicant in the June/July session
  • The best out of two JEE Main 2022 scores
  • All India Rank (AIR) JEE Main 2022
  • Candidate’s category (if applied)
  • JEE Advanced cutoff

JEE Main Result 2022: Re-Evaluation/Re-Checking

The NTA does not entertain any sort of request from applicants regarding re-evaluation or re-checking. Hence, the scores acquired by competitors in the JEE Main 2022 result are the final results based on which they will get their college.

Difference Between JEE Main Percentage and Percentile Score

Many candidates get confused when they see their JEE Main scorecard, and some think that percentage and percentile are the same aspects. But these are completely different concepts in which percentage is the exact marks while percentile is the relative marking.

To check the JEE Main 2022 result, the only possible way is to use the application number and date of birth. The NTA does not provide the JEE Main 2022 result by the name of the applicant.

JEE Main Result 2022: Cutoff

The NTA not only declares the JEE Main result of the session, but it will also release the JEE Main 2022 cutoff. This will give applicants the idea of a minimum score set to qualify for the JEE Main exam. Hence, candidates will know the qualifying percentile along with the declaration of their JEE Main 2022 result. To be qualified for JEE Main and furthermore to apply for affirmation in top engineering organizations like Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), or Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), applicants ought to have a score equivalent to or over the JEE Main 2022 cutoff.

JEE Main 2022 Rank List

In the final JEE Main Result 2022, the NTA will also declare the JEE Main 2022 rank list. Hence, every appearing candidate can find their secured rank in the JEE Main scorecard. The rank will be based on applicants’ percentile, and they will also receive category-wise and AIR (All India Rank).

JEE Main 2022 Counselling

JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) is responsible for conducting the JEE Main 2022 counselling to take admissions in the prestigious colleges in India. The students will be called for the counselling after the announcement of JEE Advanced 2022 result.

The steps to participate in JoSAA counselling 2022 are as follows:

  1. The qualified applicants have to register online.
  2. Then fill up the choice of college and branch.
  3. Applicants have to lock their choices.
  4. The result of seat allotment will be released.
  5. Once applicants receive notification to sit for the counselling, they have to report to the allotted institutes.

There will be 6 rounds of counselling, for which applicants have to register once. However, they can amend their choices before every round, for the branch or the college.
