NEET 2024 Exam: Check Tie-Breaking Criteria
In order to resolve the conflict between two candidates having the same percentile scores/marks, NTA issued tie-breaking criteria. The preferences will be given on the basis of the points listed below. Let’s have a look.
- The candidate having the highest score in Biology would be given first preference
- In the next steps, candidates having the highest scores in chemistry would be given the preference
- If the tie still continuous the number of marks obtained in physics will be considered and those candidates will be given the first preference accordingly

- Following the same pattern the second preference will be given to the candidates with their marks secured in chemistry.
- If the tide still exists candidates getting a lesser proportion of correct and incorrect answers in physics will obtain higher ranks.

- The last preference would be given to the candidates’ application numbers in ascending order
How to Calculate Score From NEET 2024 Answer Key?
